 The Process for Social Security Disability

 Application Level -  A representative is assigned to complete all forms - including the Social Security Disability application and activities of daily living questionnaire and all other forms from the SSA office. We also medically develop the case so nothing is missed. We send specialized forms to all of our client' medical treating sources to build the case stronger.

Reconsideration Level - If the Initial Application is denied, our firm will file an appeal on behalf of the client and make sure all medical is received and also completing all necessary forms needed for the appeal.

Hearing Level - If the Reconsideration is denied our firm will file a hearing request in front of an Administrative Law Judge. Our firm will also review the file to determine if we can write a brief that is called an on-the-record decision to try to approve the case without an in person hearing.If the Judge still requires a hearing we will be present with you in front of the Judge.
 
Appeals Council - If the hearing ends in the denial our firm will file an appeal and submit a brief to the Appeals Council. We will also submit any new evidence that is needed. If the appeal is remanded back to the Judge we will attend another hearing with the client.
